The area is famouse for it's wildlife Boar, Deer, Badger, Fox,
Coypu, Hare, Pine Martin, Red Squirrel and woderfull birds of prey
Eagles Kestrel, Red Kite, and Falcon and more I do not recognize.
The view from the terrace looks out over the forest of Drouile
and down the lane in the foreground 200m are two lakes for
fishing and swimming [Children must be supervised].
Potato pie made with cream, is a regional must to start any
meal at the many local Auberges. for those who prefer something
different to self catering or barbies.
The house has 2 double bedrooms, one with two singles if
preferred. A sofa bed in the salon for the very friendly makes a
total of 6 beds. There could be a large third double bedroom
accessed from the outside, available for the 2007 season. A
salon with a wood burner, Tv, Video, Cd, There is a wet room/
shower room, A large kitchen/dinerwith a square table for eight,
The Kitchen leads on to the vine covered terrase, floodlit in the
warm evenings. A barbeque.
Lots of parking and no traffic wardens. There is a village shop
Buchers, Post Office, Auberge and Garage a bike rid away.
Bread is delivered every day. Goat cheese is just 10min bike ride
down the track. What with Free veg, who needs a supermarket?
[15 Minutes drive at Auzances. And open on Sunday morning.
The nearest city and townes are about equi distant from the
house 45mins distant. Aubouson is a medieval town famous for it's
tapistries Claremont Ferrand and Montlucon are the nearest cities.
Giat, 20 min drive holds a wonderful open market every other
Tuesday. Auzances weekly market is on tues 15min drive.
Monday Everything Is Closed Locally.
