Najac, one of the 140 or so "Plus Beaux Village de France", is a medieval bastide village with a chateau, built in 1253, set high on a ridge on a meander of the Aveyron river. The market towns of St Antonin Noble Val and Villefranche de Rouergue are nearby. Najac has a selection of shops and excellent restaurants.
The house is set in the La Pause area of the village, tranquil and nestled under the 13th century church. Originally two houses, the property offers very flexible accommodation with potential for summer rentals. As a family home it has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms tastefully renovated and decorated. A large roof terrace overlooks the chateau and Aveyron valley. Under the house is a large cellar/storage area and a small workshop/studio. A garden not attached to the house is 40 meters away and has been used as a vegetable garden.
Najac has its own railway station with a direct line to Toulouse. The nearest airports are Rodez and Toulouse.
