I have for sale a Typical Detached Charentaise House built in 1780 plus a Detached Self contained Bungalow built in 2007 which can be used as an annex for friends and family or rented to provide an extra income - or live in the bungalow and rent the main house - whichever you choose you will be able to supplement your income.
The house is approached via Ornate Iron Gates to a sweeping tree lined drive with gardens either side until eventually you reach the Main House which looks quite majestic as you approach. The grounds which extend to 2.3 acres are within High Walls - a Walled Garden property sitting in the countryside - so tranquil with nothing but the birds to be heard. Across from the Ornate Iron Gates are fields as far as the eye can see.
Main House:
The Front Door of the House opens to a Hallway (17m²) with terracotta tiled floor, downstairs cloakroom and door to the rear garden. There is also a flight of stairs to the first floor.
To the right is the Sitting room (38m²) which has an unusual tile/wood combination floor (see picture) and exposed wooden beams to the ceiling, there is a lovely Fireplace with a wood burning stove. There is also a raised area to one side of this room which could be a storage / office area. This room is double aspect with windows to the front and rear gardens.
From this room a door opens to into a room not currently renovated (33m²) with a door to the front, the room contains a bread oven/fireplace and original washing stands. This room has all kinds of possibilities.
Taking the left exit from the entrance hall is the kitchen / breakfast room (28m²) with large windows and a lovely fireplace. The kitchen includes an island, glass door to the garden, and a separate pantry. There is also a beautiful range with double oven, sink unit, etc. Beyond the kitchen is the dining room (29m²) which has the original Manger showing the rooms original heritage as a stable . There is a lovely feature wood burner. This room leads off to the laundry/boiler room (oil fired boiler 10 years old).
Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Stairs from this end of the house lead to the First Master Suite (29m²) with wooden floor and Velux window. There is also an en-suite shower, Toilet and Wash Hand Basin.
Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4: From the entrance hall, the stairs lead to 3 upstairs double bedrooms, 2 at one end which share a Family bathroom, and a 3rd Bedroom which is another Master Suite (26m²) with a spacious bedroom area and a raised sitting area, there is also an en-suite shower room with Toilet and Wash Hand Basin.

Exterior and Outbuildings (Main House):
The house is set in 2.3 acres of Parkland which is completely walled. Great place for animals as it is totally secure.
The rear garden is completely enclosed within the Park - so you can create different areas for your animals to play.
There is a Barn (approximately 55m²) with a new roof and wall ties - this could be developed. There is also a Covered sitting area or carport to the front of the house.
There is also a small outbuilding in the rear garden with an insulated cellar.
There are 2 gated entrances to the properties - 1 through Iron Gates and the other via Large Wooden Gates - taking you closer to the barn.
There is a Bread Oven located in the rear garden and an area for a Bbq.
