Close to the historical town of Bayeux which attracts many tourists for its famous Tapestry. Caen is only 30 minutes away and known for its history of William the Conqueror. Like the mondain towns as Deauville, Cabourg and Honfleur? All at 45 minutes drive. Or what about the 2 golfcourses nearby?
Lower Normandy and especially the area of Calvados is a culinary area. You will find the most wonderful fresh fish, scallops, mussels, cheeses, meat, cider and calvados in this area.
